In this course, participants will understand schematics and diagnose failures of a control system. This course will provide an emphasis in troubleshooting electrical circuits. Prior Knowledge: Completion of Direct Currents and Alternating Currents Circuits courses, or experience/education in DC and AC circuits is required in order to be successful in this course.

This is a 40-hour course with hands-on training in Digital Controllers Programmable Logic Controllers. This course is intended for individuals who have had prior experience or education with electrical schematics, computers, and control systems. YOU WILL LEARN TO: Construct, program and diagnose failures of a controller system utilizing an Allen Bradley controller.
This 16 hour course is designed to train maintenance technicians and other electrical personnel working in industrial plants and commercial buildings. YOU WILL LEARN: • Theory of operation of a Variable Frequency Drive • Basic testing before startup • Discrete inputs and outputs for control signals • Analog signals for speed reference Prior Knowledge: Prior experience or education with 3-phase motors is necessary to be successful in this Level 2 Class.
